the first frames were taken with the olympus (om1), since the M was at the leica-store. light is entering somewhere. price for service about 400-500€. time for service about 3 weeks. nice. austria has lost it's only leica serviceman a week ago. so from now on, everything goes straight to solms, germany, wich means double the price for every little service ! yay !

folter = agony

a nazipigeon !

one good thing about slr. you can go very close ;)

back to leica M again. will shoot 3 more weeks with it and then send it to solms.

bought me a ND8 filter (-3ev) which makes the plusx125 a 16asa film and the apx100 a 12asa one :)

shooting wide open in sunlight is just ace.

i should know..

trix400@2000 le-koller method.

"women earn less". BILD dir deine meinung ! somehow strange how a completely sexist german jounral "stands up" for women.. i must say, i haven't read more than just the cover.

i like that one. grain and good tones. spot on focus. we'll see if i print.

fuji reala (leutner edition).

shooting with the ND here:

meet little james ! ;)

who needs HDR/DRI anyway ?

moizeit !

leutnersche scratch !

judo noobs ! lol

he gave me a smile. cheers buddy !

bern not so pleased about some dirty neg. maybe some DAN chlor will help ?

"wine days" in the MQ. haven't seen so many old fashoined people there ever. this is what austrians usually look like !

i just couldn't resist.

some leutnerscher dirt on the neg. i had to stamp a spirallike scratch on her face.

PX125. M6. ND8 and some incidence of light, strange effect here.

he's WILD.

f2.0 i love that filter.

this little lively creature was attacking me with a beer can !

1st try !

2nd and last one. i felt almost canned to death!

reminded me of "men in black".

these three fell from the sky like that.

haha. i love this frame..

lotsa heldenplatz action.

(HDUL)

this old pervert.. i "asked him kindly" to stop gazing and drooling on a 40ys younger lady, but had to capture his expression beforehand. his reaction was somewhat disconnected.

oh and tobi asked me to make one or two photos of his band. wohoo. it was fun actually. 12mm.. oh dude. haven't developed the others yet.

went to a party last night. it was too dark for any useful photos. 4th here:

this makes me think of "come to daddy".. scary shit.

sometimes a candle is enough for a photo. but i still prefered more than a small little flame.

ich mag die serie nach "i should know.."

The shots off the Olympus look nice. was that the 50 1.7? street is less easy with the slr. I'm curious, which body did you shoot the band shot with the 12mm with?

I like "I fuck like a girl" hahahaha perfect pose.

Oh I was just going through some files tonight and stumbled upon this

made me laugh, there are some other good ones I had forgotten about.

Love a couple of the frames.

Would like to know how you focus so fast and accurately with your rangefinder. I'm still getting used to my Leica.

@michael:

@ryan... OH these !! haha.. i'm sure you have a fun-pack of that setting :)

i shot with the 50/1.8 (i've sold all the other om lenses already)

12mm. eos5 body. crap. but ok.

@stelios: yeah i like trix that way.

@josh. usually it's good to know what distance you have on your lens before you start to focus, so that you know the direction you screw and the lenght.. most of the times for street i set between 2 and 5 meters, so that i'm quickly on the right focus.
same with exposure. i set them all the time on my hand or spots where i could need correct exp, so that i'm spot on or close when i take a photo.

@kira: yeah i'm collecting those :) yawning and eating people.. love it.

@big james... i must say, i had to chuckle too :D

So much money because of light leaking inside your Leica? Sounds ridiculous.

No matter what I've serviced, the lens or the body, Leica or Oly, I've never payed more than 40 EUR for anything.

Failing shutters, realignment of rangefinder, broken film advance, lens recalibration. Whatever. 40 EUR.

Must be a very big hole in the body for the price! :)

Dude the ND filter is a really cool idea, being able to shoot wide open in strong light would be very fun to play around with.

Nice one.

The leica problem is wierd, can't believe how much it costs! Sucks dude.

Sehr nett wieder mal.

Was für negativhüllen benutzt du? Acetat, Pergamin, beides?

Der little James is geil ^^
