back from germany.

on a weekend around the 20th a few friends and i made a double-barbeque.. yeah twon in a row.

haven't developed any b/w films yet though i have colour-scans.

so here a few shots taken with agfa ultra and fuji reala, leica m6 and summicorn 35/2

(ps: my lab fucked the reala so i decided to go for b/w with this one)

i know i won't ever be a feet-model... but i couldn't resist taking this one, you can also cover ugly feet with finger on screen. why must feet look so ugly anyway ? dear god.


linus walked over a bee that day. he KILLED it ! murder... gschiet dir schon recht.. he used pink ice to lighten the "pain".

next day i showed off my new d&g glasses in my cerutti bath robe. leica+ultra+linus. thanks


we played this game where you get a name on your head (which you obviously can't read) and have to guess who it is. by asking questions that can only be answere with yes and/or no. that moment he was clueless what a hot bunny he was actualy.



now to my favourite shot. hommage a elliot erwitt. all feet in the air-dog shot, if you know it. "lurchi" the dog was saying good bye to the countryside.. but got blown away by the wind. what a funny cute scene haha.that dog enjoys everything it seems. back on the way home


it began to piss down.. Ina grabbed her things out of the car boot.. and even found the time to "smile" for the photograph.. i love when that happens in shitty situation. cramped smiling faces haha. 5 minutes later rain stoped. kismet.


oh and yeah. i've been to germany. wiesbaden to be accurate. that's the most beautyful thing they have there, i was told. (well beside my girlfriend ;))

my last entry surprisingly cought some more attention than i would have thought. still makes me happy that even the clown and the ninja couldn't resist loving it.. (i must admit it was quite genious!)


back to non-da-related life. this blog will feature a few prints i've done lately. been in the darkroom a lot recently. printing for chris and keith.. and still have to print for clayton !! fiber is just so much work but fucking worth it !


also i got this camera "lomo fisheye 2" for fun.. never thought i'd buy that sorta stuff... but how else should i get rid of the tons of expired films and cheap rolls i got for free everytime i'm at the store... ?

i thought it'd be waste shooting those with the leica. yeah, leica. got a new one. chrome this time, with 35cron 2nd generation. seems all good to me.. haven't seen any scans yet.. but i feel that it's good shit.. it must be, it's DEUTSCH !

now to the prints. remember this one ? the only fiber i have scanned. since it's a small one (18x24cm).. all the other fiber are too large to scan... which is kinda crap because i'd prefer to share these... but rc does it too.. still much better than scans from the neg.

believe me now that judging bws on a screen and on a scan is nonsense ? print is all, scan is nothing more than a preview.

i'm holding a photo which i have printed lately for the guy (linus) next to me who is also on the photo. the photo was taken in this mirror. so i found it quite fun to take a mirror inverted photo of a mirror inverted print in the same mirror (which makes it normal again, ain't it ?) ;) with the same guy next to me..

i've printed some photos right after. then he printed some. i took photos in the meantime. 50/1.4@1.4 1/15th 3200asa... that's what it looks like... kind of intresting that there is enough light for photos.

after the darkroom, i went to some friends, having barbecue.. weather was shit so we used that sunshade to protect the meat from rain.. the saussages were "fiery" haha..

later i found this and got some genius idea.. but it must be kept as a secret, promise me !
i've sent this candle to the lab of a friend.. who will suck out the blood of these mosquitos. our hope is that we find blood of the ancient dinosaurs in it.. then we'll send a team of specialists to an unknown island and start to breed dinosaurs again. in a few years we'll open an incredible place.. a park of dinosaurs... what do you think ? what should the parc be called like ?

guess why they got left over. if i called this "the three outsiders" it'd be a topfave i guess.

later we played a trivial pursuit from the 80's which was quite fun.. wtf.

just another evening. shooting digital after a while again. (other, not stolen) markII + 28/1.8 most shots between 1600 and 3200 1.8 - f2.5 and 1/10 - 1/100 exposure time. i have also shot a roll neopan 400+2 with om1 and 24/2 from 1/8th - 1/30th that night.

here we go.. the magic beer bottle, inspired by figo the only nazi cat out there..

i bet you didn't know, one of my cameras has a butterfly on it ! ;) bought it like that, i tell you this camera will be worth 1000nds of dollars one day... ^^;

miriam did a good job on manual focus there ;) 1/13th at f1.8 3200iso is quite the uber dark i'd say

took this one as we left. that's the location where we had some beer and spend some time.. quite fun ! someone left his/her umbrella there. first day with rain since ages.. i have the same shot with the oly on b/w, will see what looks better
